A Christian bus driver refuses to drive the bus with the slogan "There is probably no God"
Ron Heather from Southampton reacted with disbelief and went from the job in protest when he discovered the message that was stuck outside the bus he was driving.
800 buses
800 buses across the UK are now running around with Atheist campaign from the British Humanist Association for themselves. The campaign is created by Ariane Sherine (in the picture at the top of the article) and it says "There is probably no God. Stop worrying and enjoy life "stuck all over the buses.
The campaign was created as a response to a Christian evangelical campaign on buses last summer.
- Did the shock - I'd just to go on board when the ad hit against me. My first reaction was shock. I felt that I could not drive the bus. When I told it to my bosses, they said that they had no other bus. Therefore, it was better that I went home, "said Heather to BBC Radio. He eventually agreed to return to work against that he must run Atheist bus if no one else is available.
- We understand Mr Heathers views on bus advertising, and we will do what we can to fulfill his desire to not run the buses, "said First Bus in a statement.
